Wi-Fi 7 FTTR-B (Fiber to the Room-Business) Master-slave Gateway

Wi-Fi 7 combined with FTTR-B (Fiber to the Room-Business) is an advanced networking solution aimed at providing ultra-fast, low-latency, and highly reliable connectivity for commercial or business environments. Below’s an overview:

What Is Wi-Fi 7?
Wi-Fi 7, based on IEEE 802.11be standards, introduces several improvements over Wi-Fi 6/6E:

Higher Speeds: Speeds up to 46 Gbps, thanks to support for 320 MHz channel bandwidth and higher-order 4K-QAM modulation.
Lower Latency: Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows devices to operate across multiple frequency bands simultaneously, reducing delays and improving reliability.
Greater Device Density: Enhanced scheduling and resource allocation for high-density environments.
Improved Network Efficiency: Introduction of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) for real-time data applications.

What Is FTTR-B (Fiber to the Room – Business)?
FTTR extends fiber optic connectivity directly into individual rooms or zones within a building. For businesses, this ensures:

Consistent High Speeds: Fiber optics provide ultra-fast data rates without degradation over distance.
Reduced Interference: Unlike wireless solutions, fiber is immune to electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable connectivity.
Scalability: FTTR-B solutions support seamless expansion as businesses grow.
Integration with Wi-Fi: Fiber-to-room setups complement Wi-Fi by eliminating bottlenecks between routers and endpoints.

What Are the Applications of Wi-Fi 7 FTTR-B?
Smart Office Spaces: Enables seamless video conferencing, IoT device management, and AR/VR applications.
Healthcare Facilities: Reliable connections for telemedicine, medical equipment, and patient monitoring systems.
Retail and Hospitality: Supports immersive customer experiences, real-time inventory tracking, and secure payment systems.
Educational Institutions: Ideal for hybrid learning, virtual labs, and high-capacity data sharing.

What Are the Advantages by Combining Wi-Fi 7 and FTTR-B?
Unmatched Speed: Perfect for bandwidth-heavy tasks like 8K streaming, cloud computing, and collaborative workflows.
Improved Reliability: Redundant paths and fiber backbone reduce downtime risks.
Cost Efficiency: Lower long-term maintenance costs with robust fiber infrastructure.
Future-Proofing: Prepared for next-gen applications and devices.

The first Wi-Fi 7 FTTR-B (Fiber to the Room-Business) master-slave gateway is an all-optical networking solution designed for smes. This product combines the characteristics of high speed, large concurrent connection and low latency, supports the BE3600 specification Wi-Fi 7 wireless Network standard, and provides up to 10Gbps Passive Optical Network (PON) uplink adaptive capability. And 2.5Gbps optical networking performance between master and slave devices, and can be flexibly expanded to 1:32 ratio.

The FTTR-B solution simplifies the enterprise’s internal network architecture with an all-optical master gateway device that integrates multiple functions. This core device can replace the functions that traditionally require multiple independent components (such as access gateway, router, wireless controller AC, integrated access device IAD, POE switch, etc.) to achieve, thereby building an “All in One” enterprise LAN.

This master-slave gateway not only improves the network speed and service quality of enterprises, but also improves the deployment efficiency and management convenience, and is one of the important infrastructures for future digital transformation.
