The central stainless steel tube is surrounded by single layer of Aluminum Clad Steel wires (ACS wires). The tube is filled with water-resistant gel. This tube provides complete protection to the fibers from longitudinal and lateral water/moisture ingress.
The interstices in between the stainless steel tube and the metallic wires are filled with anti-corrosive grease for protection from corrosion.
The stainless steel tube is hermetically sealed by seamless welding.
Suitable for internal/external plumbing applications.
Ideal for environments requiring rodent protection
Great for link building in a campus setting.
Loose tube fiber optics for indoor and outdoor use.
1. Up to 24 fibers available
2. Standard SM and MM options available
3. High water resistance.
4. UV resistant jacket
5. Conforms to IEC standard

IEC 60794-1-21-E1
|
As per cable maximum tensile strength (max. Working tension) in table above |
After 30 minutes the maximum strain on the fibre should not exceed 0.2% and no attenuation change throughout test |
Crush |
IEC 60794-1-21-E3 |
Short time: 10 min Long time: 120 min Load: As per maximum crush resistance in table above Number of positions: 3 adjacent sections (ensuring one over tube and one over lay reversal |
No damage to the sheath or to the core structure and no attenuation change throughout test |
Impact |
IEC 60794-1-21-E4 |
