Testing Laboratory

01/ Fiber attenuation test

Equipped Best EXFO Single mode & Multi Mode OTDR get accurate data ,the Test are anytime anywhere on the mobile cart to monitor every fiber core meet strands or customers requirement. The Standards Shall be IEC60793,Detail as below:

♦ 02/ Water penetration Test

Pick up 1m sample random from the first finished Cable to arrange test immediately in first test procedure:

♦ 03/ Temperature cycling Test

Meanwhile pick up sample from first finished cable for test high/low temperature cycling :

♦ 04/ Tension Loading Test

♦ 05/Impact Resistance Test

♦ 06/ Torsion/Twist Test

♦ 07/ Bending Test

♦ 08/Vertical Flame Test

Test for resistance to a vertical flame propagation for a single insulated conductor or cable EN 60332-1-2:2004 :

A 1600mm vertically installed bundled of cable is exposed to the effects of a radiating oven (approx830°C) and forced ventilation. Pilot flames arranged above the oven burn off the emitted gases. The test duration is 30 minutes, with the ventilation stopped for every 10 minutes during the flame application period. The cable sample is classified under Category C1 according to NF F 32070-2.2if the carbonised part of the cable sample does not extend more than 0.8m above the upper base of the oven. Depending on the damaged length, they can be further classified into 4 classes A, B, C and D:

♦ 09/ Optical Cable UV Resistance Test

Test evaluates the ability of cable sheath materials to maintain their integrity when exposed to ultraviolet, UV, radiation due to sunlight or fluorescent lights, as applicable. This maintenance of integrity is evaluated by measuring the retention of tensile strength and elongation in the sheath of cable samples.

Requirements: After exposure, the average tensile and elongation of the test specimens shall be a minimum of 80 % of the original value.

♦ 10/Salt spray test

Purpose. The purpose of this test is to determine the effects of a controlled salt-laden atmosphere on Fiber Optic device components, finishes and mechanisms. Typical effects of this test include, but are not limited to:

a) Exposure of base metals, pitting and porosity of finishes.

b) Cracking and delamination of components or finishes,or both.

c) Abnormal nicks, cracks or scratches on finished surfaces that indicate the removal of the normal protective coating.

d) Change of optical transmittance or insertion loss values, or change of electrical properties
